Assemblyman John Lemondes has been recognized by the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for his voting record.
Lemondes was one of five state assemblymen to receive the Award for Conservative Excellence. The award recognizes those who voted with the conservative position at least 90% of the time.
“I’m honored to have been recognized as one of New York’s most conservative assemblymembers for the second year in a row,” said Lemondes. “Right now, our state is living proof of the failures that come with far-left, progressive policies. New York needs strong, conservative leadership that isn’t afraid to stand up for everyday New Yorkers. I plan to continue to work with my colleagues in the Assembly to make sure our state is a great place to live for everyone.”
Lemondes represents the 126th Assembly district which covers parts of Cayuga and Onondaga Counties and includes Auburn, Owasco, Skaneateles, and Camillus.
The other winners were Assemblymen David DiPietro, Michael Fitzpatrick, Christopher Friend, and Brian Manktelow.
