Hope is coming to Auburn this weekend.
The Hope Movement will hold a series of roundtable and forum discussions titled How Can The Science of Hope Change Your Life from 9:00a-1:00p on Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Speaking on FLX Morning with Ted Baker, Sharon Peyus with the group said the event is about seeing hope as more than just wishful thinking.
“Setting goals, having a pathway to that goal, and having the agency and the willpower to be able to follow that through, that’s what we’re going to explore in depth.”
The movement seeks to use the roundtable discussions as a means to teach the science of hope and how it intersects with different disciplines including healthcare, law enforcement, education, and working with veterans.
Registration for the event is free and can be done at hopemovementevent.com.
Additionally, The Hope Movement is planning to hold its first annual conference next October in Auburn
