After over 90 years in business, one Auburn restaurant will serve its final meals next month.
In a Facebook post, Hollywood Restaurant announced its final day of business will be June 29.
The post went on to state, “We wish you all well and would like to share that our friends and family wish us well also. We want everyone to know that our health is relatively good and the restaurant is not going on the market anytime soon.”
Hollywood Restaurant was opened in 1933 by Dan and Rose Cecora, with their two daughters Bridget and Margaret helping, and has remained in the family ever since. Joe and Bridget (Cecora) Colella took over in 1966 with their son, Joe Colella Jr, taking over for them.
