An upcoming clinic will help you keep your pets safe.
The Cayuga County Health Department and Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY will hold a rabies vaccination clinic on Monday.
Dogs, cats, and ferrets four months and older are eligible to be vaccinated. Dogs must be leashed and cats and ferrets must be in pet carriers with only one animal allowed per carrier. Dogs may need to be muzzled.
Proof of prior vaccination is needed to receive a three-year rabies vaccine; tags will not be accepted as proof. Ferrets will receive a one-year certificate.
The free clinic will run from 4:00-6:00p at the SPCA on York Street in Auburn.
Anyone with questions is asked to contact the SPCA at 315-253-5841.
