Auburn City Council will vote Thursday on the reappointment of Kristin Garland as associate Auburn City Court judge.
Garland, who made history in 2019 as the first woman to serve as a city judge, is concluding her initial six-year term. The council is expected to reappoint her to another six-year term, extending her tenure through 2030.
Despite her recent loss in the race for Cayuga County Family Court judge, Garland continues to serve in her current judicial role.
