The Harriet Tubman National Historical Park has its first Lead Park Ranger.
Brittany Lane began her new role this week in Auburn.
Park Superintendent Ahna Wilson says “Her experience and enthusiasm for sharing Harriet Tubman’s story with visitors as well as her dedication to building new programs make her a perfect fit for the park.”
Lane started her career in the National Park Service in 2015 at Tuskegee Airman National Historic Site. She also served as a park ranger for Booker T. Washington National Monument.
