SHARE NOW

The Fayette Historical Society is excited to announce its third annual Holiday Happening & Historic Christmas Ball, a festive event to benefit the Society’s ongoing restoration projects. The event will take place on Sunday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Fayette Fire Hall, located at 4200 State Route 414 in the hamlet of Fayette.

Attendees will enjoy a variety of exciting activities, including food stations provided by Simply Homemade Catering, homemade desserts, and a chance to participate in Civil War-era group dancing. There will be a live caller, ensuring that everyone at all skill levels can participate. Come dressed in your favorite historical attire and to view other beautiful historical costumes. Additionally, guests of all ages will have the opportunity to make crafts and decorate the Christmas tree. There will be a fundraising raffle and silent auction featuring an assortment of gift baskets donated by our local businesses.

Tickets cost $20 for people ages 13 and older, $10 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under 5 years old. As a special bonus, Fayette Historical Society members will receive one free raffle ticket with their admission. Tickets will be available at the door.

All proceeds from the event, along with any donations, will go directly toward the non-for-profit efforts of the Fayette Historical Society. Projects include the restoration of the Society’s historic 1846 building and the preservation of the 200-year-old Stone Church. The Fayette Historical Society encourages the community to come out and support these important preservation efforts while enjoying a fun, festive holiday experience.
