Early voting begins Saturday for Republican primaries in Cayuga County.
Dana Haff, Michael Selover, Thomas Owens, and Michael Sacco are seeking their party’s nomination for Springport Town Council. Voters can select up to two of the four. Also in Springport, Daniel Schenck and William Walter are competing for the Republican party’s support to become the town’s next highway superintendent.
In Summerhill, Kyle Ripley and Lester Coit are vying for GOP support to become the next town supervisor, while David Dunham and Richard Tillotson are running for highway superintendent.
Democrats have no contested races in the county.
Early voting opens Saturday at the Cayuga County Board of Elections (157 Genesee St, Auburn) during the following hours:
June 14,15: 9:00a-5:00p
16,17: 12:00-8:00p
18: 7:00a-3:00p
19: 9:00a-5:00p
20: 7:00a-3:00p
21, 22: 9:00a-5:00p
On Primary Day, June 24, voters can vote in their respective towns from 6:00a-9:00p. In Union Springs, voting will take place at the Union Springs Fire Department (257 Cayuga St). In Summerhill, voting will take place at the town offices (13606 NY 90 in Locke).
