Despite renovation work closing its York Street facility, The Finger Lakes SPCA of Central New York is continuing to serve the community.
Recently, the group was alerted to a situation by Adult Protective Services, leading the SPCA to act quickly to provide care for 21 cats.
The SPCA is seeking community support in order to continue its mission, such as the rescue of the cats, while renovations are underway.
Those looking to adopt a pet can visit adoptable animals at the Auburn CountryMax. Adoption appointments can be made by contacting the SPCA at 315-253-5841.
To drop off donations or access the pet food pantry, visit the SPCA at its temporary location at the Fingerlakes Mall. Monetary donations can also be made online.
