The dates are set for Cayuga County’s annual Spring Electronics Recycling Events.
The initiative, led by the Planning & Economic Development Department, will take place on Saturday, March 21, offering residents a way to dispose of unwanted or obsolete electronic devices in an environmentally responsible way.
A wide range of items will be accepted at the event, with a complete list available online. Items that WILL NOT be accepted include appliances containing refrigerants, alkaline batteries, and devices containing mercury.
Three locations have been selected to collect e-waste, allowing residents to choose the spot most convenient for them.
Central Site – Fingerlakes Mall

Southern Site – Venice County Highway Garage

To help manage traffic flow and reduce wait times, registration is required for the Fingerlakes Mall Site. Registration will close on March 17. 585-637-8365.
Organizers ask that those who have registered but are unable to attend cancel their appointment to open up the spot for someone else.
