The conviction of a man who assaulted two Auburn police officers has been affirmed.
Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci announced on Friday that the Appellate Division has rejected Justin Tillmon’s bid to have his sentence reduced on appeal. Tillmon was sentenced to 14 years in prison, seven for each count to run consecutively.
Tillmon was sentenced on July 21, 2022, after being convicted on May 5 of assaulting the two officers and his girlfriend during an incident on January 24, 2018.
