When voters head to the polls in November to vote for Cayuga County Clerk, one candidate will appear on a new ballot line.
Conservative candidate Kristine Lytle has garnered enough signatures to create the Experience Matters line, separate from the Conservative line.
She says it’s all about giving voters choice, telling Finger Lakes News Radio “I created that line so that we can give people of our community, voters of our community, the opportunity to see me on a second line that may be looking for a more nonpartisan leader.”
Lytle, who has worked at the DMV for 16 years, will face off against Democratic candidate Brian Scanlan and Republican Christopher Petrus on the November 7th election to succeed Sue Dwyer as county clerk.
More information on Lytle, including events she’ll be hosting can be found on her campaign website.
