This weekend will see the return of an Auburn summer staple.
The 5th Annual Chloe Calhoun Charity Softball Game will be held this Saturday at Flacon Park.
The Auburn Fire and Police Departments will face off at 5:00p, with the losing team’s chief taking a turn in the dunk tank. The game will be followed by a concert by Tompkins Drive, and there will also be kid’s activities and fireworks.
Money raised from the event goes to the Chloe Calhoun Memorial Scholarship which is given each year to two graduating seniors at Auburn High School.
The scholarship was created after Calhoun was tragically killed by a drunk driver shortly after graduating high school in 2016.
