The Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of its 2024 Chamber Awards.
There are two winners of the Small Business of the Year Award. For its entrepreneurship, Potter’s Farm to Fork won in the business under five years old category while Stacey’s Permanent Solutions was named winner in the business over five years old category.
The Business Leader Award went to Empower Federal Credit Union while the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY received the Non-Profit of the Year Award.
Three awards are given to individuals rather than businesses.
The Terri Bridenbecker Young Professional Award goes to an individual under 40, pursuing excellence in their career. This year’s winner is Matthew Ferguson of A&M Graphics.
The Phyllis Goldman Award is awarded to a woman who is either a business owner or a majority owner. Nominees must serve as an inspiration and mentor to other women. Named in memory of local businesswoman Phyllis Goldman, this year’s recipient is Larraine Emmi of Emmi Realty.
Julisa Stone has been named as the winner of the Community Leadership Award. This award goes to a Leadership Cayuga alum for their leadership in their organization and community. Stone is a graduate of the class of 2018.
The awards will be presented at the Annual Chamber Awards Luncheon scheduled for May 9 at 11:30a at The Springside Inn. Tickets for the event are $50.00 and can be purchased at www.cayugacountychamber.com/events
