Cayuga Museum Offering New Spring Break Youth Program

SHARE NOW

A new program from the Cayuga Museum will give kids a chance to have fun while learning over Spring Break.

The museum is launching its first Spring Break Youth Program on April 1. Designed for children ages 10-12, parents or guardians can drop off their children at the museum from 12:00-3:00p for an afternoon of board games, arts & crafts, trivia, and a scavenger hunt.

Speaking with FLX Local Media, curator Haley Black said the program was created as part of the museum’s effort to provide more children’s programming and offer things to do for children who stay in the area during school breaks. Additionally, Boothe said that this program is acting as a pilot for other activities the museum hopes to offer during other school breaks throughout the year.

While the program is free, registration is required. Registration can be done on the museum’s website.
