An annual Cayuga County event will not take place this year.
United Way of Cayuga County announced it had “made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Tim Morrison Mini-Golf Tournament.” The annual tournament was scheduled to take place on March 19 at the Holiday Inn in Auburn. This would have been the tournament’s 33rd year.
In its announcement, United Way gave no reason for the cancellation, other than stating it was “due to circumstances beyond their control.”
The nonprofit thanks those who had already registered for the tournament and committed to building holes for the tournament.
United Way added that those wishing to stay up to date on the tournament should visit the event’s webpage.
