Just one day after New York State swore in its first woman Governor on Monday, the first woman District Attorney in Cayuga County took the oath of office.
Prior to being elected to the post last November, Brittany Grome-Antonacci took over the job in an “acting” capacity in 2021 when former DA Jon Budelmann became a judge.
Also Tuesday, former Sheriff David Gould was re-elected chairman of the county legislature.
