As the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office continues to try to fill open positions in both its custody and road patrol divisions, it has decided to hold open interviews every Thursday from 2:00-4:00p at the Public Safety Building on County House Road.
Speaking on FLX Morning, Sheriff Brian Schenck said his office is actively recruiting and wants to assist those looking for a career in law enforcement.
“We’re going to welcome anybody who wants to come into our sheriff’s office on County House Road and enquire about open positions… We’d like to have anyone if you’re interested or just want to find out some more information about [employment opportunities], we welcome you to stop by, and we can walk you through the process.”
Those seeking more information or who can’t attend the Thursday open interviews are encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at 315-253-3991 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
