Cayuga County Sheriff Talks Plans for Solar Eclipse

With the excitement and anticipation of the April 8th solar eclipse continuing to build in our region, public safety is also a top priority on the day for law enforcement. In Cayuga County, Sheriff Brian Schenck says they’re planning for an increase in cars and people, especially in the northern portion of the county.

 

Sheriff Schenck said one of the main priorities for law enforcement on April 8th will be to keep the main state routes open in case emergency services are needed.
