Cayuga County has a new Democratic Elections Commissioner.
The Cayuga County Legislature voted Thursday to appoint Ken Warner of Sterling to complete the term of Keith Batman.
Batman announced last month that he would resign effective February 28, ending his tenure of just over a year in the role. He was appointed to the position in 2023 to complete the term of Katie Lacey after she retired with two years left in her term.
Warner’s term will run from March 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028.
