Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca’s Christmas in July Toy Drive has returned to Cayuga County for 2025.
Launched in 2024, the summer toy drive raises money and collects new, unwrapped toys for CAP’s Christmas Elf Program. Through the program, CAP then distributes toys in December to Cayuga County families in need. The program also distributes books, coloring books, crayons, and gift certificates for Christmas Dinners to families.
Those wishing to help spread some Christmas cheer in Cayuga County can do so in a variety of ways: gifts can be purchased through CAP’s Amazon Wishlist; monetary donations can be made online, and both money and toys can be dropped of at CAP’s Auburn office (89 York Street Suite 1) Monday – Friday from 9:00a-5:00p.
Anyone seeking more information is asked to email [email protected].
CAP officials told Finger Lakes News Radio that, through community support, they were able to provide gifts for 1,270 children in the county last year.
