After more than 30 years of service, the city of Auburn’s Board of Appeals chair is retiring. On Finger Lakes News Radio’s “FLX Morning,” Auburn City Clerk Chuck Mason said the City Council recently thanked Edward Darrow for the job he has done for the Auburn community since joining the ZBA in 1992.
“Mr. Darrow was first appointed to the position back in the early 1990s by then-Mayor Guy Cosentino and has been re-appointed by every mayor since,” said Mason. “He has served us so well in that capacity, not only as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals but for the many years that he served as its Chairman.”
Darrow, who is the President of Central New York Pool Service, will preside as Chairman of the ZBA’s final meeting set for October 23rd at 7 p.m. at Auburn City Hall.
