One area Zonta Club is now seeking grant applications for projects to benefit women and girls.
The Zonta Club of Auburn is now accepting grant applications for projects “directed toward building a better world for women and girls in Auburn and Cayuga County.”
Requests for funding will need to include the amount of money being requested, project timeframe, and how the project will support/advocate for the advancement of women. Requests can be sent to Mrs Kathy Stenard, Zonta Club of Auburn, PO Box 521, Auburn, NY, 13021. The deadline to apply is March 6.
Grants will be awarded in May and typically range from $100-500; however, the club said that larger amounts may be considered depending on the project’s merit.
The club added that preference may be given to 501(c)(3) organizations.
