Two public meetings and a public hearing will help the City of Auburn decide how to best distribute its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.
The first meeting will be at 10:00a Tuesday at City Hall and the second will be Wednesday at 5:30p at the Booker T Washington Center.
A public hearing on the matter will take place at 1:00p on November 30. That will also be held at City Hall.
The funds will assist low to moderate-income individuals in the city for the 2024-2025 program year.
The CDBG program is an annual program by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development that provides grant funding to states, cities, and counties so they can develop viable urban communities through the expansion of economic opportunities and by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment.
