The Auburn Police Department is thanking residents near Grant Avenue Plaza and Standart Woods Apartments for their help in safely locating a missing elderly individual yesterday.
Officers were able to contact the family and reunite the individual thanks to community assistance.
Following the incident, the department highlighted the importance of Project Lifesaver—a rapid response initiative designed to assist individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or autism who may wander and become lost.
