An Auburn man will spend the next eight years in state prison for raping a minor.
The Citizen reports Weston Rhodes was sentenced to five years behind bars for the rape conviction and an additional three years for felony attempted rape. Judge Thomas Leone handed down the sentence after the victim gave an impact statement.
Rhodes was arrested after police received a complaint back in June reporting he had engaged in sexual conduct with a girl under the age of 15
When the 30-year-old is released from prison, he will begin 10 years of post-release supervision.
