The Auburn Fire Department has announced a slate of promotions.
Matthew Pysnack has been promoted from captain to the rank of Assistant Chief. He succeeds former Assistant Chief Bill DiFabio who retired Wednesday after 29 years of service.
Additionally, Christopher Burns and Brian Donovan have been promoted from lieutenants to captains, and Travis Poole and Justin Wood have each achieved the rank of lieutenant.
