One annual Auburn event is hoping to once again earn national recognition.
The Brave Brews Festival is competing for a spot on USA Today’s 10 Best Beer Festivals in the US list for 2025.
Now in its fourth year, the three-day event is a celebration of women and non-binary individuals in the craft beverage industry. In 2024, the festival placed fifth on the top ten list.
For the list, a panel of beer experts chose their 20 favorite beer festivals. Now, the public can vote for their favorite from that list. Voting runs now through noon on February 24 with the winners being announced on March 5. Voting can be done here.
The City of Auburn presents Brave Brews in collaboration with multiple entities including the city’s Historic & Cultural Sites Commission and the Equal Rights Heritage Center. This year, the festival runs from March 7-9.
Brave Brews is part of the larger Brave Women Week, which runs March 3-10 and is a weeklong celebration with events and specials at locations in Cayuga, Cortland, Onondaga, Ontario, Monroe, Seneca
