One area assemblyman will be in Auburn this week for a town hall meeting.
Assemblyman John Lemondes will hold the event Wednesday night at 6:00p at the Auburn VFW Post 1975 (44 East Genesee Street) where constituents can share their opinions and concerns with him.
“Town hall meetings are the cornerstone of a healthy democracy that allows all views and opinions to be heard,” said Lemondes. “I encourage all residents of the 126th Assembly District to come out and discuss how we can make Central New York a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
The Republican incumbent is running against Democratic challenger Ian Phillips to keep control of the 126th Assembly District which is comprised of parts of Cayuga and Onondaga Counties including Auburn, Weedsport, Port Byron, Skaneateles, and Tully.
