There’s just over a month left to submit a film you’ve made to the Cayuga Film Festival.
Returning for its third year, the festival is a collaboration between Cayuga Community College and Auburn Public which seeks to celebrate and promote filmmaking in the Finger Lakes and New York State as whole.
Juliette Zygarowicz with the festival told Finger Lakes News Radio it provides a great experience for area filmmakers.
“One thing that I like to think about for the Cayuga Film Festival is, whether it’s your first festival or like your 30th, there’s something really special about having your work screened and celebrated in a community that’s equally as excited about film as you are.”
While based out of Cayuga County, films either made by New Yorkers or made in the state will be accepted.
The deadline to submit is July 1st. More information on submission guidelines and categories can be found on the festival’s website.
