How much milk was poured at the milk bar during this year’s rendition of the New York State Fair? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County manned the bar and Ron Kuck with the groups says it was a lot.
We sold over 15,000 gallons of milk,” Kuck said on FLX Morning with Ted Baker. “That’s 23,0000 cups. That’s somewhere around the production of 1600-2000 dairy cows.”
Cornell Cooperative Extension employed over 20 teens to work at the milk bar during the fair’s 13-day run.
Kuck adds, that for many, this was their first experience in the workforce.
