3 Million New Yorkers Vote Early; County-by County Breakdown Released

According to the New York State Board of Elections, almost three million New Yorkers took part in the nine-day early voting period that concluded on Sunday.

Local totals are posted below:

Cayuga: 13,839

Ontario: 17,840

Schuyler: 2,220

Seneca: 3,673

Steuben: 12,849

Tompkins: 15,326

Wayne: 11,071

Yates: 3,356

An average of 331,687 New Yorkers voted across all nine days of early voting.  2,985,181 state residents voted early between Oct. 26 and Nov. 3. The highest turnout day was the first day on October 26th, with 379,426 votes cast.

345,840 residents of the Borough of Brooklyn cast the most ballots in New York during early voting

Polls will be open statewide on Tuesday until 9 p.m.
