Summerfest 2026 Returns to Geneva July 17 & 18 with Two Days of Free Family Fun
GENEVA, N.Y. — One of Geneva’s favorite summer traditions returns Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, as Summerfest 2026 brings two exciting days of free family entertainment to the Geneva Recreation Center, 666 South Exchange Street.
Admission and parking are completely free, and with a large festival tent and activities inside the Recreation Center, the festival will take place rain or shine.
Friday evening begins with live entertainment from The Bob Greco Band, followed at 9:30 p.m. by one of the area’s largest fireworks spectaculars celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. The patriotic program includes the presentation of the American flag and the flags of the United States Armed Forces, a ceremonial cannon salute by the Knights of Columbus, and patriotic music during the fireworks display.
Saturday features the popular Touch A Truck event from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., where families can explore emergency vehicles, utility trucks, tow trucks, and more. Highlights include the Sheriff’s K-9 demonstration, the Sheriff’s armored SWAT vehicle, child safety information, and the exciting landing of the Mercy Flight helicopter.
Visitors can also enjoy delicious food, a beer and wine garden, games, raffles, over 40 basket raffle prizes, live entertainment, the new Haunted Dark Maze, and a brand-new Escape Room.
Festival Director Bill Greco encourages everyone to come out and support this free community tradition.
“Summerfest has always been about bringing our community together. Thanks to our volunteers, sponsors, and supporters, we’re able to provide a fun, affordable weekend where families can make memories together. We hope everyone joins us to celebrate and help keep this wonderful tradition alive for generations to come.”
