“What’s in My Pill Box?” will be the topic of discussion when the University of Rochester Medicine Thompson Health regional Stroke Support Group holds its monthly meeting on Thursday, July 2.
F.F. Thompson Hospital is a New York State Department of Health-designated Stroke Center and has advanced certification from The Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The hospital is also a recipient of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally accepted, research-based guidelines.
Alice Taylor, BSN, is the Quality Assurance Stroke/Sepsis/STEMI Coordinator for Thompson and facilitates the Stroke Support Group.
