Join us for a workshop presented by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator for the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center. This session will focus on Spring Into Art.
“Discover how artists have been inspired by the beauty of the outdoors. Tour the studio and home of Jackson Pollock and Less Krasner and learn creative ways artists capture the sublime energy of nature in art. Following the tour, Joyce will demonstrate how you can capture the beauty of Springtime with paint.” [Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center] In-house participants will have access to materials to create along with Joyce as she demonstrates painting techniques. There will be an optional additional 30 minutes for completing collages after to formal presentation. At-home participants will need to provide their own materials if they choose to create along with the presentation. No experience necessary to create your own unique piece of art, perfect for the season. Registration is required to participate. Please designate if participating at the library (space is limited) or by Zoom. Zoom link will be emailed the day before on Tuesday, April 16th
