Join us each Thursday from July 16-Aug 13 for informative and fun hands-on science activities through our “Science on the Lawn” series of programs. This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story” and we will be exploring various topics related to “digging” both on earth and in space!

Today we will welcome Rob Ross to talk about the Hyde Park mastodon and see some mastodon bones. We will also get to explore shell fossils from CNY and talk about the ancient sea that once covered the area. We live near places where abundant fossils are found! Other dinosaur specimens will round out our program.
