Music Mondays in Downtown Geneva
Three Nights of Free Live Music, Food, and Local Vendors by the Lakefront
Geneva, NY – The Geneva Business Improvement District is excited to announce Music Mondays, a new summer event series bringing free live music, local food, and community celebration to downtown Geneva! The series will take place at Bicentennial Park on June 16, July 14, and August 11, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering a scenic lakefront setting for live performances, farm-fresh vendors, and local flavor.
Kicking off on June 16, the evening will feature a performance by local favorite Whorlwood.
Music Mondays were created to bring people together on evenings when downtown is typically quieter, offering a reason to stay local and enjoy all that Geneva has to offer. Several downtown businesses and restaurants will be open in conjunction with the event, and many will be set up on site—including Heavy Kevi’s Catering (Rusty Pig), Geneva Gelato, and Lake Drum Brewing, to name a few. It’s a great opportunity to sample Geneva’s unique culinary scene and connect with neighbors in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
“The Geneva BID is proud to introduce a family friendly series of events to bring people downtown, support local businesses, and bring the community together in beautiful downtown Geneva,” said Catherine Price, Executive Director of the Geneva BID.
This new series is made possible through the generous support of community sponsors, including Canandaigua National Bank, Finger Lakes Local Media, Community Broadband Networks, Generations Bank, and Lyons National Bank. Their investment helps ensure Music Mondays remain free and accessible for all by supporting performers, event promotion, and logistics.
All are welcome to attend this inclusive, family-friendly celebration of music, community and fun by the fountain in downtown Geneva.
