Kids Pottery: Stenciling on Clay with Linda LaRock

Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States with this fun pottery project! During this class, you will learn how to use a slab roller to prepare clay for your project. Next, you will cut out an oval shape, burnish the clay to a hardened, smooth surface, and embellish the clay with “paper transferred” stencils. The stencils provided will be motifs of the USA. Lastly, a hole is placed to make your final creation into a wall plaque. All levels are welcome to join, ages 8-14.
