Kids Pottery: Fantasy Animals with Linda LaRock

Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States with this fun pottery project! Horse, ox, cow, pig and turkey …. Are among a few animals that roamed the 13 Colonies during the Revolutionary War. Create a fantasy animal of this time period by choosing the head of one animal, the rear of another animal, and the talons or legs of yet another animal! The process of this sculpture will be done using very soft clay. The importance of attaching your animals’ body parts together will be emphasized and demonstrated throughout class. All levels are welcome to join, ages 8-14.
