CANANDAIGUA – Ferris Hills at West Lake is once again hosting the Foreign Policy Association’s “Great Decisions,” the nation’s longest-running global affairs education program.

The eight-week series will take place at 10 a.m. on Fridays, beginning Feb. 6 and concluding March 27. Each week involves a DVD lecture followed by discussion, and there is no cost to attend.

Topics are as follows:

  • Feb. 6: “America and the World: Trump 2.0 Foreign Policy,” by G. John Ikenberry
  • Feb. 13: “Trump Tariffs and the Future of the World Economy,” by Michael Mastanduno
  • Feb. 20: “U.S.-China Relations,” by Oriana Mastro
  • Feb. 27: “Ruptured Alliances and the Risk of Nuclear Proliferation,” by Gideon Rose
  • March 6: “Ukraine and the Future of European Security,” by Thomas Wright
  • March 13: “Multilateral Institutions in a Changing World Order,” by Scott Bessent
  • March 20: “U.S. Engagement of Africa,” by Jendayi E. Frazer
  • March 27: The Future of Human Rights and International Law,” by Jose Enrique Alvarez
