With Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital’s 100th birthday coming up in just 2 short
months, the Penn Yan Fire Department is joining in the celebration, hosting a Chicken Barbecue
fundraiser at Firemen’s Field in Penn Yan, from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14.
Tickets are just $15 per meal. Advance tickets can be purchased at Village Drug, 126 Main Street, Penn
Yan or online at flhealth.org, or reserved by calling the Finger Lakes Health Foundation at (315)787-
4050. Tickets available on the day of the barbecue until sold out.
Meals include chicken, macaroni salad, baked beans, a roll and, for dessert, a Tops Friendly Markets
chocolate chip cookie! Special bonus: enjoy Red Jacket Orchard’s cider and lemonade (12 oz size) for
just $3 each!

Memorial Hospital’s 100th Birthday Drawing. Purchase a $10 ticket to win one of 5 prizes, each with a
value of more than $250. Ticket sales are limited, and the winner will be drawn on October 24 at the
Centennial Celebration at the Mansion at Keuka Lake.
Funds raised at all Centennial Celebration events go towards the purchase of a new state-of-the-art
digital X-ray machine and radiology suite renovations at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
