Join us for a workshop presented by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator for the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center. This session will focus on Art Lovers.
“A passionate embrace, a kiss, or the pain of loss. Explore the joys and sorrows of love through the eyes of great artists Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse and others. Then create an artwork that expresses your personal experience of love.” [Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center] In-house participants will have access to materials to create along with Joyce as she demonstrates painting and drawing techniques. There will be an optional additional 30 minutes for completing works after to formal presentation. At-home participants will need to provide their own materials if they choose to create along with the presentation. No experience necessary to create your own unique piece of art. Great way to spend a little time on Valentine’s Day!! Registration is required to participate. Please designate if participating at the library (space is limited) or by Zoom. Those choosing to participate virtually will receive the Zoom link on Feb. 13th
