Week 2- A Vase of Your Own Design
Join us for our “Wednesday Wheel Night” pottery series, where we explore different techniques on the wheel every week! Sign up for one session or all four. Students who sign up for all 4 sessions will have their glazing fees waived. The vase is the French inspiration of a vessel that is “taller than wide”. Even with this basic definition, the possibilities are endless! In session 2, you will learn techniques for pulling up the walls of your clay to create a vase of your own design. Do you want a vase with a wide bottom? Or perhaps a vase with an extremely narrow neck/opening? Keeping in mind the purpose of your vase, Linda will teach you how to manipulate clay on the wheel to create the shape you desire. All levels are welcome to join, ages 18+.
