Adult Pottery: “Stars and Stripes” Pencil Holder with Linda LaRock

Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States with this fun pottery project! Let’s create a Patriotic pencil holder for your desk or office. You can either create a cylinder on the wheel or by using a slab technique. The base of the project will be produced with thicker walls than normal so that you can carve stars and stripes patterns into the cylinder. The pattern on this pot can be vertical, horizontal or a wrap around. Let your inner artist guide you in creating a memento to commemorate this important year in our Nation’s history!
