URM FL Health Foundation Names Officers

UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health’s Foundation Board of Directors has elected new board members Alexis Ogra, J. Nicole Taylor, DO, and Diana Smith.

In addition, the following officers were elected: Joan Grela, Chair; Susan Eisenhart, Vice Chair; Barbara Reese, Secretary; Jose Acevedo, MD, President; Trisha Koczent, Treasurer, and Kim Ilacqua, Executive Director.

New board member Alexis Ogra serves as the Chief of Staff for New York State Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan in his Geneva, NY office.

She earned her Bachelors of Art degree in History from University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.

Ogra, originally from Buffalo, now lives in Victor, NY with her husband and daughter. She is a member of the Victor Town Board.

  1. Nicole Taylor, DO is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Finger Lakes Radiology located in Geneva, NY.

She completed her residency in Radiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.  Prior to that she did her Surgical Internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY. She attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY.

Taylor belongs to the American Board of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the American College of Radiology. She has been recognized with the  E. Robert Heitzman Award for Teaching Excellence.

She lives in Seneca Falls with her husband and two children.

Diana Smith serves as the Municipal Client Northeast Director for MRB Group located in Rochester, NY. In 2004 she was elected Seneca Falls’ first female mayor, where she served two terms.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Humanities from Westminster College, in Fulton, MO.

Smith is a former president of the New York Conference of Mayors, and, is a founding member and current Board President  of the Women’s Institute for Leadership and Learning, as well as a longtime supporter and volunteer at the National Women’s Hall of Fame.

Smith lives in Seneca Falls with her husband.
