Physician Joins Farmington Medical Group OB/GYN Practice

CANANDAIGUA – Dr. Julia MacCallum recently joined the OB/GYN practice at UR Medicine Thompson’s Health’s Farmington Medical Group, 1614 Route 332 in Farmington.

MacCallum received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wis., and her master’s in public health from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice at Dartmouth College in Lebanon, N.H. She completed both her residency in obstetrics/gynecology and her residency in leadership and preventative medicine at the Darmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Before joining Thompson, MacCallum served for five years as an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a resident of Victor.
