Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing and Health Sciences (FLHCONHS) and Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing (MSWSPN) have extended their application deadline to June 1 for the 2024-2025 academic calendar.
Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing and Health Sciences two year registered nurse program offers flexibility to students seeking an associate’s degree in Applied Science with a major in nursing. As a privileged part of Geneva General Hospital, its unique hospital-based program allows for students to gain clinical experience on its campus in Geneva, NY.
Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing, located on the campus of Geneva General Hospital, offers a ten month program that is beneficial to the learner seeking a career as a license practical nurse. One of only three hospital-based nursing programs in New York State, it was founded in 1956. Since that time, it has graduated over 1,800 nurses.
Finger Lakes Health offers a Tuition Buy Back program that provides eligible Finger Lakes Health employees in job categories including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs to BSNs) and Medical Technologists with assistance in repaying student loan debt.
