The Village of Newark is pleased to announce that Steven Orlopp has joined the Village’s Department of Public Works as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Steven comes to the Village from Sanford Industrial Contractors of Manchester where he served as a truck driver and equipment operator. He maintains a Class A commercial driver’s license and is skilled in the operation, inspection and maintenance of various pieces of equipment used daily at the DPW. Steven lives in Clifton Springs.
Mayor Jonathan Taylor stated, “Steven brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Having someone with Steven’s talents working for our Department of Public Works will be a benefit to our community in many ways. We would like to welcome Steven to the Village team.”
