This weekend, the public community members will have a chance to see firsthand what the Moravia Fire Department does to keep the community safe.
The department will hold an open house from 10:00a-2:00p on Saturday at its station on 38 Keeler Ave.
Attendees can see how the fire department operates, meet volunteers, and participate in fire safety activities. Applications to join the department will also be available at the event.
The department hopes the open house will encourage more community members to join its ranks.
