The Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2024 Chamber Cup Golf Tournament on May 22 at Big Oak Golf Course. With the event growing each year and now having reached the location’s capacity, the event sold out again with 30 teams and 13 vendor stations on-site for attendees to visit while golfing. This event was the Chamber’s most successful fundraiser on record and remains the most popular annual event for members to attend.

Sponsors for the 2024 Tournament included Promotional Sponsor: Waterloo Container; Community Sponsor: Wegmans of Geneva; and Hole in One Sponsor: Tradition Chevrolet. The event was also supported by the Chamber’s 2024 Annual Partners: Canandaigua National Bank, Casella Waste Systems Inc, Community Broadband Networks, The Eye Care Center, Fairfield by Marriott, Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union, Finger Lakes Partners Insurance, Four Winds Chimney, Generations Bank, Geneva on the Lake, Guardian Glass, Pedulla’s Wine & Liquor, and Seneca Lake Resorts.

“We wish to thank our sponsors and Annual Partners for their continued generosity and support for helping to make events such as these possible,” stated Miranda Odell, Chamber President.

“The Chamber would also like to thank all of the variety of new members that enthusiastically came out to participate in the event this year as golfers, vendors, or volunteers,” she added, noting the increase and trend of new member businesses who signed up this year and were able to secure spots for teams and vendor stations, which drives the demand for team and on-course vendor station spaces for future tournaments.”

As one of the Chamber’s main annual events, the Golf Tournament is one of the primary fundraisers that provides proceeds for key programs, benefits, and new initiatives of supporting and promoting the Chamber’s customers and member businesses. One of the Chamber’s new programs that was started following the proceeds of the Golf Tournament is the Lunch and Learn program.
